I just got word from Wayne Campbell that Gtrax's new B&LE route has been officially released from Dovetail Games. I was given the route awhile back when it was submitted. My Northern Pacific L-9 0-6-0 was ported over to RW/TS2018 and enhanced and repainted to B&LE standards by Rick Grout. I made two tenders for it. It includes a 3D cab which he built for it and features operating brake shoes, animated reverse gear in time with the "Johnson Bar" settings and the usual RW steam effects. The L-9 I always wanted! ;) So, now I got the OK from Wayne to post some shots of the route.
These were snapped last December. Turning the 227 for the roundhouse.
Inside the spacious roundhouse.
Rick's fantastic cab for the old L-9
S-3-A #231 sports a fastback tender.
During slight shower, a pair of Rick Grout's fabulous 2-10-2s with Vanderbilt tanks meets a local rattler headed up by the 237.
How's this for immersion?

Very nice Tim. Haven't found the transfer table yet - too much to explore :thumbup3: .
Absolutely fantastic route, with a lot of operational possibilities. Visually lovely and with the usual great mix of engines and stock that you would expect from the authors (including your 0-6-0 :D). Great frame-rates, even with yards full of stock.
Just a few photos for the moment

Hey Tim - you know, when I saw the news about this route being released and checked out the pictures, I thought that little 0-6-0 looked strangely familiar - and now I know why http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/rofl2.gif I'm looking forward to checking this out, probably when I'm at the point of being ready for a break from the Mason Bogies - it looks like the route is pretty impressive.

Hey Rod, excellent photos! Greenville is the yard where the pics of the transfer table were taken. It's about midway in the route. Click the screen shot here for a larger image that is readable. It's so cool and dangerous. Dangerous in that I get so immersed in it, I forget the time and before I know it, hours have gone by.

You are going to love it, Derek. The Digitrax team did an impressive -that term seems weak, job in the nine months it took to complete. I'm glad and a little proud of the little L-9 being chosen to play the part of B&LE 0-6-0's. I also made the extra fastback tender for it too. And with Rick's enhancements it's even better.
How is your Mason Bogie coming along? It looks like I'll be joining you in producing a Mason product soon. I'm looking for good drawings of a Wm.Mason 4-4-0 of the Civil War period.

Hi Folks,
LOL - the first time I’ve been tempted by the dark side and Rick would be the guy I’d prefer to hand cash to - absolutely incredible looking screenshots... How are the physics now days ? I recall even Rick complaining about that in the early days - they don’t need to be perfect - merely plausible...
Regards,
Scott
