Trains in MSTS-Standardroute Europa2 can never start, . the brakes are wrong initialised

If I try to start MSTS-Standardroute Innsbruck-St.Anton Activityes “Hoheit an Bord” (Royal…???) or “Brautpaar” (braid…???), the Train is standing with brakes in emergency-position. No possibility to release the most part of these car-brakes.
No Problem in MSTS.
Following the original Engfile of the Engine, the Brake has to be initialised with the brake-lever in in the apply-position:
Brake_Train ( 0 1 0.0125 0.6
NumNotches( 4
Notch(0 1 TrainBrakesControllerReleaseStart )
Notch(0.4 1 TrainBrakesControllerSelfLapStart )
Notch(0.5 1 TrainBrakesControllerApplyStart )
Notch(0.9 1 TrainBrakesControllerEmergencyStart )
)
MSTS start the game by initialising the brake with full pressure in the brakepipe, and the brake-lever initialised in the apply position, the pressure in the brakepipe is then going down until the player is moving back the brake-lever to the SelfLap-position.
OR is initialising the brake with triple-valve in emergency-position.
But the AuxRes is initialised with full pressure (70psi), what is in reality never possible !
The AuxRes can only have full pressure if there is no pressure in the brake-cylinder and the brakepipe has also full pressure.
With this high initialised pressure in the AuxRes, the triple-valve can never switch back to release-position by filling up the brake pipe. So there is no way to release all brakes of this train.
For OR-Insider it is easy to solve this problem:
Initialise the Brake-lever in the selfLap-position by modify the 380.eng file:
Brake_Train ( 0 1 0.0125 0.5
NumNotches( 4
Notch(0 1 TrainBrakesControllerReleaseStart )
Notch(0.4 1 TrainBrakesControllerSelfLapStart )
Notch(0.5 1 TrainBrakesControllerApplyStart )
Notch(0.9 1 TrainBrakesControllerEmergencyStart )
)
But new OR-Users will find by their first steps in OR this not movable trains with blocked brakes!!!
Can somebody modify this wrong initialised AuxRes, please?
It would by very useful for new OR-Users.
After game-start brake-lever moved back to SelfLap-Position
Brake fully released

OR is Starting the Simulation with nowhere defined and not realistic pressures in the brake-system, which set the triple-valve in the emergency-position, and the Brake-system in a not releasable condition.
MSTS is starting the simulation much more useful: the brake pressures are starting with pressures in the brake-system given by the release-condition, but the trainbrake-lever is set in position "apply" as given in the 380.eng file.
So the brake will be applied (from the release-state) more and more, until the driver move back the lever in the SelfLap-Position.
Can you modify this behaviour please?

I have seen, that the Initialisation in OR of the pressure in AuxRes with Brake-Lever in Position apply or emergency is for the most part of single_pipe-Brakes not conform with the reality.
If in the *.eng-file the Trainbrake-Lever is initialised in an apply-position, the Simulation will start with partial or full pressure in the brake-cylinders what is correct. But the AuxRes are initialised with here max Pressure (or sometime 1 or 2 psi less). This initialisation does never correspond with the reality. As higher the pressure is in the brake-cylinder as lower has to be the initialised pressure in the AuxRes!
So I think, if this wrong initialised AuxRes (and emergency Reservoir) are corrected, also for the Gölsdorf-Train the brakes will release after start of the simulation. Because, if I start the Simulation in release-position, the brakes can be activated and released without problems until the emergency-position and back.

If you use activity "Bride and groom" and force exiting emergency, entering release state, and then go again into brake apply state, the triple valves return to emergency. So it is not (or not only) a problem of initialization.

Hm, can you please attach here the .eng file of your loco? I wonder if you have a modified version.
Anyhow the problem should be under solution. I have sent to Eugen a patched orts.simulation.dll version for checking.

Hello,
The brake initialization error occurs only in the explorer mode. In activity mode it works correctly.

Hi Carlo
I modified the complete OE set back in January this year, cant remember why though.
I modified the complete OE set back in January this year, cant remember why though.
The Problems occurs only, if the Simulation is starting with the Thrainbrake-Lever in Position apply.
This is the case with the original-380.eng-File from 6.1.2001
Brake_Train ( 0 1 0.0125 0.6 NumNotches( 4 Notch(0 1 TrainBrakesControllerReleaseStart ) Notch(0.4 1 TrainBrakesControllerSelfLapStart ) Notch(0.5 1 TrainBrakesControllerApplyStart ) Notch(0.9 1 TrainBrakesControllerEmergencyStart ) ) )
Brake_Train ( 0 1 0.0125 0.6
= initialiced in position 0.6 what here is apply

Hi Merwyn,
in fact you modified the whole Brake_Train block, so that your initial value (0.25) corresponds to the TrainBrakesControllerRunningStart position, which does not discharge the brake pipe. Instead in the default .eng file the initial value is 0.6, which is in the Apply zone.
