I foresee to do that after the feature will be committed into the standard OR version.

@Mirek: thank you, I'll hire you as my marketing manager! :) BTW did you experience trainset failures in your runs?

New randomization pack available for x.3976. Now passengers boarding can be also less than standard.
5/11/17: File deleted because new release available
If no problems arise with this revision, it will be committed.

did you experience trainset failures in your runs?

Once I saw the boggie power failure at loco 0 (diesel). No car failure occured.
(Are there any steam engine failures too?)
I suppose rolling stock failures have only low probability, otherwise we'd have crash sim instead of train sim :-)

Going to test new revision pack from Carlo...

So, here are the results of passenger run:
Five stations ahead to serve. My train is delayed about 10 mins to the schedule at the start point. Path is clear. I called Autopilot to do the job. But - as you can see below - I really was not happy about him today: he must have been drunk. Here is the record of the journey (B0 = standard boarding time, B3 = boarding time when randomization set to 3):
Stn# B0 B3 What happened
1 1:40 1:40 Autopilot started 50 sec after "OK to proceed"
2 3:00 3:00 Autopilot started normally
3 1:40 1:20 Autopilot started 20 sec after "OK to proceed"
4 2:00 4:30 Autopilot left some people out there, because after 2:30 of boarding he closed the door and in another 10 secs departed
5 2:30 2:30 Autopilot fell asleep. When we were 6 mins after "OK to proceed" and he still didn't move, I had to wake him up (pressed Alt-A twice), then he moved forward.

Carlo, can you look at it please? (I used your newest rev_6 pack with X3976)

Thanks,
Mirek

I found the problem. It's not simple to find a complete solution, so by the moment here is a new pack release for x.3976, that disables station start delays for autopiloted player trains (delays remain operating for AI trains and for player-driven player train).
7/11/2017: file deleted because feature committed

If I understand it well, NO randomization will occur with autopiloted trains. This makes sense for me because Autopilot Mode is intended for testing only, not for real driving.
I retested the passenger activities w/ and w/o Autopilot and found no issues.
Now I can explore and enjoy all my existing activities with this new random mode!

Excellet work, Carlo. Thank you very much!

Is there any way to tell the player to tell them (the player) if there is a issue on the player consist? If not, could you please add the warnings in?
