Attached is a patch for x.3926 where also left and right arrow keys are enabled, as well as four keys in the numeric keyboards. Comments welcome.
6/9/17: File deleted because patch committed.

thanks for the patch.
I can think of another discrepancy between OR and MSTS:
In Camera 2 and 3 you were able to "jump" between the waggons (I think with the Curser Left/Right Keys) within MSTS.
For example in Camera 2 you were locked on the engine at the beginning of the train whilst pressing "2" the first time.
Pressing the left Curser Key, the camera moved back and locked on the second waggon, then the third and so on.
This was quite handy after coupling on a train.
I don't know if this feature has moved to different keys but if not, it would be nice to have it back again.
All the Best

Alt PgUp (PageUp) and Alt PgDn (PageDown ) do the same thing in OR

Sounds promising to me. I only wait to update to x.3926 (with x.3925 I get some error windows with the patch). Then I will comment.

I like it! To have the possiblity to move the cam 4 around the train to have some different looks at the train while it's passing is a good feature.
I only want to propose to set the arrow keys more MSTS-style. The left-right keys should fly you around the car in a circle like with cam 2 or 3. The Up-Down keys should bring you closer or distant to the car. Both while the train is passing of course.
To get this arrow key behavior in MSTS I use the entry "CamControlFull" for the cam4 (YardCam) in the "camcfg.dat":
camera ( CamTypeYard CamType ( CamTypeYard CamControlFull ) Fov ( 60 ) ZClip ( 0.5 ) WagonNum ( 0 ) Description (Yard_Cam) )
instead of the origin: camera ( CamTypeYard CamType ( CamTypeYard CamControlYard ) Fov ( 60 ) ZClip ( 0.5 ) WagonNum ( 0 ) Description (Yard_Cam) )
Anyway, it's a real good option by now and better than a fixed point of view with cam 4.

I must say, this is very odd to use. The movement is along the X and Z axis, or something like that, and seems totally unrelated to the direction the train car, track, or camera itself is facing. I cannot predict which way it will move before I press a key.
I suspect this is because the RotationYRadians used to change the direction of the movement are not actually used by the trackside camera in the first place (unlike the free-roam camera). Perhaps if RotationYRadians was updated to match the actual direction the camera is looking, the keys would cause the camera to consistently move left/right/forwards/backwards.
