I'am not chur, only thing i found of cabradio is a cabviewplacement.
in keybaord.iom nothing found about cabradio, like Carlo said in prevous posts, it was a control that not was completed. (1 of many secrets of MSTS)

Well, in my opinion, cab radio had to work in activities like spoken buzz (MP3) instead of writing :-)

As far as I know, OR only supports static pre-spoken messages.
Indeed, but it was my question in case brainstorming, there are games, if you typ a text "This is a test", and you send to other train or all trains
that you hear a voice said what you have typed. I think FS9.1(2004) and later have something like that, you can choose voices. And maybe fightgames...
Maybe that is a good update for later. The cabradio where topic over go, is more for power on, power off, but if you add more different sounds on power on soundstream
you can have different sounds. That is why i said that better is for made a power off button with other keyb combination ( SHIFT + ALT + R )
What i have said between that typ to voice system is more a idea in case dispatchterwindow (send message) or maybe with a "event" in activity/timetable this can handle too.
Otherwise, you can take a GSM or tablet and use a cable from it , to line in of soundcard, and you can play every radiomessages/walki talki sounds that you want, or background music example ;-)
In this case i'am happy that the cabradiosounds are working, mouseevent is working, all what in MSTS was not finished.
i'am look out of reaction of Carlo in case "shift + ALT + R" ;-)
