No. I'm not sure of anything Trainz.

I tried again, and it appears that I CAN download either the TANE or TZ19... but once downloaded they are in a .cdp format that I haven't a clue what to do with. Is this a zipped file? If so, what do you use to unzip/etc?

Thanks for your help. Like I said, I merely archiving them for possible future use. But I would like to get them while they're available.

It's called a "Content Dispatcher Package", and basically, when you start up Trainz, you get a menu, what you do is select Content Manager, which lists everything you have installed. On Content Manager, go to "File" > "Import Content Files" and then find the cdp file you downloaded. Once you have Trainz installed, and work with it a bit, it's all pretty straightforward.

So, at this point all I need do is download the files and if/when I should ever try Trainz, the files will need to be placed where Trainz can read them.

Yeah, that is pretty much it! Trainz also has its own file library, and you can download content from it using the content manager. It's all quite intuitive.
