Just got the brand new Diesel Workshop (https://www.dieselwo...ja?currency=USD) ALCo C-424. An absolutely gorgeous train that runs great, for a good price. These shots are on the RWA lakeside route.

Very nice looking beast.
May I know, is AlCo vendor dead now?
No new locomotive noted during last 30-40 years.

Yes, weter, ALCO is gone, but by golly, not forgotten.
The C-424's were among favorites when I was younger, when they were common in my area. Those and the C-425's and C-636's of the Spokane Portland & Seattle Railway (BN, later) were very familiar sights. (Not to mention the older RS-1's, 2's, -3's and FA's, earlier on). Oh and a couple of C-415's, too, but those were rare to see.
C-636's were awesome machines.
Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

Hm, Tim: aren't their brothers working in Brasilia?
I've seen screenshots here, with model repaints and 3D cabs in progress...

Its nice to see so many people still enjoying the L&PS. I don't remember when it was released but it must have been over 20 years ago! Great pics everyone.
