I remember being equally as amazed when Wayne was posting screen shots while building his London & Port Stanley some 14 (?) years ago.
You ARE the master at your craft, Wayne. :thumbup3: :thumbup3:

A tip of the hat to you, Wayne. :hi:
That is gorgeous work; some of the most "photo-realistic" screenshots ever!
I still have the London & Port Stanley installed; one of my favorite Routes.

I took a few weeks off but I am back at working on the CVP. I finished up in the Adams Bay area with a fruit packing plant and another marine freight area as well as detailing two additional industry spots.
Here's the marine transfer dock.

Next up I will move down to Ryan Creek where we meet up with a back woods logging operation.

Here's a first look at the Camfor operations at Ryan Creek ( see map).
Camfor brings logs in from its cutting sites to the interchange yard at Ryan Creek. Eastbound log cars are picked up by the CVP and delivered to the mill at Odessa and others beyond. For westbound destinations, Camfor has running rights over the CVP to the GNR interchange tracks at Adams Bay.

Camfor's main engine service facility is at Ryan Creek ( here under development ). One of the reasons I wanted to represent Camfor was to give me an excuse to build some of the funky logging loco's that operated in the back woods of BC and Washington state .. in case I ever run out of things to do - ha ha. Here you can see my indecision about era with a mix of locomotives. At first I thought I would skip the turntable - using shays and other double ended locos instead - but now I think maybe I'll replace that 3-way switch with a turntable.

Here we'll follow the westbound transfer run out of Ryan Creek. This 44 tonner is the only Camfor loco that meets government regs for operating over the CVP. The Camfor crews tack on caboose to prep the train for the run, then call in to the CVP dispatcher for clearance.

Its a short scenic run to Adams Bay but the grades are stiff enough to give this little loco a good workout.

Wayne i love each and every pic of what you are doing..the realism and the complexity of the foliage and veg...all of it... rings true and frankly looks very right for that region from my memories of my own trips to BC. can wait to see more of the logging operations.

I am still having fun with this project and have completed detailing from the west end all the way down to Dog Creek. Here's a few pics from around the Ryan Creek area.
Camfor has its main engine terminal here. They operate a mix of geared steam locos along with some small diesel locos.

I added a little detail to the interior - you can never have enough clutter.

Next up I'll be working around Dog Creek to finish the hydro dam and power plant there.
