In MSTS, i have an EMU trainset, that had no interior lighting at night. The shape file had no provisions for this, as the interior textures was linked to the exterior body texture.
So in the shape file, i edited all the interior shapes to a very minus number. The main shape file was just an exterior shell, while the interior was invisible.
I then made a freight animation where this was reversed, ie, the exterior was invisible and the interior was shown with the texture mode changed to 'bright'.
After a few hiccups with a render problem, which meant adjusting the 'vol sphere', to allow the separate passenger view not to show parts of the internal FA, i achieved an interior, which was alight at night.
In OR, the front coach F.A was partly shown in the cabview. So i adjusted the cabview slightly forward to avoid this.
However in the separate passenger view. This view is showing the passenger shape file, together with the internal FA shape file. I cannot move the passenger view to avoid this.
My question is, can this passenger view( with the separate shape file), not allow the interior FA, to be displayed/rendered ?
I see the OR FA has more features implemented, but unsure if any parameter can overcome my problem.
Thanks

So you say that:
- MSTS does not show the FA of a trainset when you are in the passenger view of such trainset;
- OR instead shows such FA.

Hi Coolhand,
I had prepared the couple of modified runactivities for your test, but apparently it's not possible to attach files to posts in this subforum...
May I ask an admin to move this thread to "Maybe it's a bug" or to enable file attachments in this subforum?

In fact my question was intended to be already directed to an admin :)
