3DTrains, in partnership with Stream Lines, Inc., is proud to announce that a presale beta of Sherman Hill for MSTS and Open Rails is available for purchase at a special introductory price.

The beta presale will include the full route product when released later this summer. The route does not, however, include any trains or rolling stock. That's where SLI comes in, and they have agreed to produce a special train and rolling stock pack for this route. Note that the set will be a separate purchase.
The route is still being tweaked, including adding signaling, finishing object textures, as well as adding more terrain textures. A beta build will be uploaded later today, followed by bi-weekly builds (Monday and Friday). Participation in the discussion forum is optional, but your input will ensure that the final route will be among the very best available for MSTS and Open Rails. Additional screens and details ill be posted over the weekend.

What a surprise!!! :)
I never thought a Sherman Hill route for MSTS / ORTS would be available anytime soon - and then you announce this! :sign_thanks:
Heck, this is a deal I´ll likely be unable to withstand. Just tell me, please, for how long will the pre-sale offer be available? (I need to save me some pennies off the tips I receive on the job to afford this long-awaited route) :)
Cheers, Markus

More than happy to support the good news with a purchase - definitely looking forward to checking it out :sign_thanks:
Once you're done with this, all that will be left to do is create a 1940's / 1950's version for us who prefer external combustion engines :)

Hi Folks,
Yep - definitely nice seeing quality content developers return to the fold... While I'm with Chris and Derek - Sherman Hill without Big Boys just seems like something is missing ( realize payware guys have to cater to market demand ) - I'll probably make the purchase just to support Marc's efforts... Honestly - in this case - I think the same route in steam would actually sell...
;)
And I noticed the painted ROW - awesome...
Regards,
Scott

A cumulative update has been posted that adds additional terrain textures and documentation (yard map and zts charts). :derisive:
