@ Nathan, MSTS is a no go for loco and tender, the dreaded UID error for both. I don't wish to produce a MSTS version, it would be almost a complete rebuild to produce one. :unknw:

Cheers Bazza.

Oh okay, thanks anyway.
I might go with Dick Cowen's 0-8-0 instead, or maybe his 2-6-2.

Fair enough, Nathan, sorry I couldn't help.

Two more views in the series, top, and front on.

Because the loco was constructed without drawings, these renders are the drawings now. :unknw:

Hi Bazza,
I do not have the number of years left in my life time to get any thing near your skills in model making.

Regards Geoff.

Hi Geoff, it's a combo of fumbling and bumbling, until suddenly you start doing things right, usually in stages, alternating between moods of frustration and triumph. :clapping:

I fixed the pump, at last, but still have to check the associated plumbing. I also fixed the pump, shifting bolts to where they should be!! All done without cussing...unlike the early days. :naughty:

Latest render done, now it's time for bed. :unknw:

IMHO, a masterpiece! Beautiful work there, Baz. Even the render gives it a classic patina of realism.

It's the small 'things' that niggle away at you, often for months, until you just have to change something, hopefully for the better. It's a bit like a cat wanting attention, but not as half annoying as the cat.

I did one necessary change, just a slight adjustment to a part, but took the opportunity to remodel the crosshead guides, by adding a totally unnecessary milled inset where the crosshead slides. Yeah, totally unnecessary, and it used up some polys I'd saved for somewhere else, but, niggle, niggle, so I made the change. Being engineer-incharge has its perks.

Sorry for the big pics, but it makes it easier to 'spot' details that often get blurred on a smaller pic due to compression. Looking at renders shows up mistake I made, maybe apparent to me, but not to others. I've layered two renders together, one solid and the other solid+outline. QC at work. :ireful2:

Cheers Bazza.

Oh dear! A new niggle, that WHP needs more attention to the artwork. :ireful2: I can't blame the cat, this time.
