And here she is, Ol' #5, she maybe long gone, but she lives again, today. Cheers Bazza.

:ermm: :( Ol #5 is indeed one of the occasions that qualifies. Quite right, fine work, no moot about it.

How embarrassing, late last night I decided to do some further tweaking of M&U #5, and it was a while before I realised I wasn't working on the version with the single WH pump! The original has the double WH type, the 'upgrade' has the single WH pump, as per the original loco. Oops, modelling after midnight is fraught with fishhooks. I better visit the shipyard, instead, hope I find the right slip and the right ship! :p We live in hope. Just another of the perils of modelling, along with procrastination and nervous tics, comes lost of visual accuity, otherwise known as tunnel-vision. .

Oh yes, and that >>> as well.

Cheers Bazza.

I forgot to mention, today saw yet another round of texture tweaks, to smokebox and boiler. Results, as per the above render. Remember a render is not how it will exactly look in-sim. :bigboss:

Cheers Bazza

Today's texturing hint: lay[er]ing is your bestie ever friend. :victory:

Edited: No matter how many times you stare and now matter how many photos you peruse, you always managed to find 'new details' you missed on the thousand other occasions. :wheelchair: "!??"

Edit #2: you don't have to actually lay an egg. http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/pleasantry.gif
