Obviously, the alerter is something that should use real time, then :whistling:

I find "almost never" to be the key phrase. What parts of the simulation code would be using the clock time, besides the obvious, time of day. Just wondering?

The only thing I can think of is the timetables in passenger activities, and timetable mode itself. That does mean the shifting time like this breaks both those kinds of activity, but I'm not sure there's a fix for that - the time shifting keys are meant to be for debugging only. :)

I'm not a programmer and I don't play one on the internet but...

Is there a way to deactivate the time shifting keys while you're running an activity? I wasn't intending to change times, just hit the wrong key while reaching for F9.... or maybe make it so you have to intentionally hold the Alt key while shifting time.

Paul :-)

You could try to change them, so they need a modificator key to be pressed along with them, like for example, Ctrl + + or Shift + -. That way, it´s almost impossible you accidentally hit them, as you won´t accidentally hit two keys so far apart at one time.
