Sick debut here at Elvas, James! If you seek a calm, friendly train simming forum, you'll love us here at ET.

How about a Virtual Scale model of a cartoon railroad? Train No. 2, the "Fiddletown Flyer" ready to leave Copperopolis on the Fiddletown & Copperopolis Railway of the late Carl Fallberg:

The infamous Tehachet Loop

Crossing Goshawful Gulch

Doesn't get much more fictitious than that! :sign_thanks:

ZOMG! You're actually making the Fiddletown and Copperopolis Herb? Oh, my dear friend, please tell me there isn't any payware being used on that route: You simply must release that on the world, rather than keep it to yourself and tease us all with it!

On a side note: Somebody needs to talk to the MSVR's motive power department. these new passenger units they've been getting Continental Europe and whatnot make a P42 look pretty! (and that takes some doing!)

Those DF11s you're seeing on MSVR are actually Chinese.

...and as the folks on Bazza's rail network can attest to, a sister class of locomotives has Asbestos issues. Jason, has the MSVR conducted tests on the locomotives to affirm no asbestos is in them, and--if there is--performed all necessary abatement?

Sawyer, only the original demos were actually built in China, and those have since been returned. Th new units are being built here in the US by California Rail Equipment, Inc., a privately owned group that's working with GE, MSVR, and the original Chinese manufacturer (name escapes me at the moment) to produce these new "series" units. I can assure you that there's no asbestos in these new units. And don't worry, these engines won't be spread nationwide, as they'll be in captive service on the Daylight and Lark Talgo sets.

Old story. Full of payware and not my route to share, I just hijacked it! I haven't worked on it in a couple of years. All the equipment with knuckle couplers would disappear first if I was going to work on it. LOL! :sign_thanks:

CPW 8233 leading M-342 on the CSRL Coast Sub. The 4409 is seen last in the lashup leaving CA after running on the Grain Express.
