Yes I would like to teach myself how to code like I have with 3D cad but I have a feeling coding is a different animal all together.

Whilst fiddling with the PRR T1 sounds I have discovered why the exhaust seems to move rearwards as speed increases. It seems from observation that both steam volume and point of origin for the exhaust are controlled by the position of the reverser. The smaller the reverser % is, the less visual steam is produced and the point of origin moves back proportional to how fast the locomotive is travelling. For the PRR T1 the sweet spot for the reverser is between 38 and 42% forward/reverse when running at higher speeds.
