Two different textures for smoke (thick) and steam (more subtile), instead of currently single smokemain.ace?
By the way, "main" tells about something else was planned in MSTS, maybe...

Might wanna start learning how to code, Brandon, that's the only way you'll see it happen I'm afraid.

We're at the mercy of peoples good will after all, and they're busy on their pet projects.

Yes I would like to teach myself how to code like I have with 3D cad but I have a feeling coding is a different animal all together.

And not everyone will find that enjoyable for themselves - while hobby is better to be so.

Whilst fiddling with the PRR T1 sounds I have discovered why the exhaust seems to move rearwards as speed increases. It seems from observation that both steam volume and point of origin for the exhaust are controlled by the position of the reverser. The smaller the reverser % is, the less visual steam is produced and the point of origin moves back proportional to how fast the locomotive is travelling. For the PRR T1 the sweet spot for the reverser is between 38 and 42% forward/reverse when running at higher speeds.
