If so, KEEP AWAY from Windows8 (already discussed in some other threads): OR will eventually work (tried out on my brother´s new Win8 Laptop), but it´s nothing better than on my System, although with 8 gigs ram, 3.2ghz i7 and some really GREAT Nvidia (don´t exactly know, which one though...). Seems to me, "improving" (if Win8 is an improvement) means making things more resource intensive ;D

I am staying with Win7. I would not touch Win8 aka Metro because it is not designed for "normal" computers. It is designed for touchscreens and smartphones.

That however would be an Advantage of Win8 for me - if OR would Support click-activated controls, ´cause it would enable one to really "touch" the intruments. Yet, if it brings along such performance-losses as it does...
