2. I've noticed previously that your spring rigging on this locomotive is very simple, with each spring being anchored directly to the frame with no equalizer levers. Would you mind posting a render of the frame, sans wheels and running gear for better viewing, so we might get a better idea of what's back there? I realize that you didn't have any drawings to work of with this locomotive, but it might be possible to find some drawings of a similar locomotive so that you might be able to "guesstimate" whatt he spring rigging would have looked like on the #5.

Right-oh, now I've sussed it - I concentrated on the 'transverse' equalisers. I usually put in more detail such as you suggest but I must have forgotten this detail with #5. Thanks, sometimes it takes a little WD40 to loosen my rusty brain, in this case it was apple cider flavoured.

Cheers n thanks for the feedback.

This is the latest render of a progressive upgrade from MSTS > Open Rails, of my 2006 C&S B4E Consol.

Capt.

Looks a lot like the one in the Howard Fogg painting. That looks great. Can't wait to see it in person.

I know this from experience...hand riveting is costly in polys, but gives more flexibility for placing them than if done with 2d artwork.

The cab side number and loco class are 'transfers'. They work rather well in Open Rails.

Some more tweaks, to the wheel rim texture, cab windows and air compressor pump.

Turns out I did get an EVGA Gforce 550 Ti card. All I need now is the right monitor and OS and I can get 3d action.
