Interesting to learn more about this OR stuff right along with you John. I have a hard enough time handling MSTS as it is, so I have trepidations of diving into OR. Then again, the way Dell and others are selling computers today - one with twice the spec's that Chris specifies might actually be cheaper than a cel phone or iPad now?

But yes, great site here. The old guys seem to get a kick out of me, and some great creations and history unfold here. It's THE place to be for all things MSTS and OR now IMHO. :bigboss:

with 1 GB Memory Ram,

Definitely too little RAM. System RAM will be shared with the OS/TSRs, graphics, sound, with what's left to run the sim. Think of it as trying to compete at NASCAR with a Model T.

Cheers Bazza

Here is the fps that you requested.

7 FPS
on the route of MLT CN Bala Subdivision with the activity, Southbound Priority.

If I run this same activity and same route on the program of Microsoft Train Simulator and get 25 FPS.

Thank you,

John

John,
your issue is definitely caused by low FPS. Any equation is computed within a time span between two frames displayed. If the time span is too long the result may be unstable (depending on parameters of equations) what you can see on your laptop. I was dealing with this issue. Maybe we should place a disable advanced physics checkbox into the menu for this kind of computers.
