Hey Jim, those are great pics of great models. I think those are among the best interurban models out there. Wayne did a fantastic job, even underneath the car, there's plenty to look at. I really like the shot through the weeds.

Thanks Tim. And thanks to Wayne I'm having fun running these fine models.

I am glad you all are still enjoying these models. I had a lot of fun making No 12 and No 14. I managed to get good access to No 14 for a few hours where I was able to photograph all the underbody equipment. It allowed me to do a lot of detailed modeling there. Unfortunately I've lost those original photos but with the models done I guess I don't really need them.

Wayne,
Thank you for all the contributions you've made to the hobby. And thank you for letting people repost it. I'll have to disagree with you about the comment that the route is not of much interest anymore. There are new people still entering the hobby everyday. Every time I have posted a shot they ask what route is it and where can they get it. I think this is one route every new comer to the hobby should experience. Its a prime example of what can be accomplished in route building. And thanks to your generosity they will. I'm sure the L&PS will live on long into the future.

Jim

I absolutely agree, Jim. This is one freeware route that should be a payware route. It's that good and I'm very glad Wayne has shared it with all of us as such.
It's a classic and every new route builder should experience it to see what can be done with route building. :D

Thanks, Wayne... :D

Pullin' out! And, a little switchin', again...
There's no stoppin' this l'l Critter... :p
It's one mighty Mo... (It's far to powerful for a 16 ton loco, in my opinion.)

He he, there ain't no stoppin' this one either. These traction locos are very strong critters. I guess that's why they replaced steam, huh? :bigboss:

OK, one more for the road... and it's red!

Well I can't resist - here are a few that were more about Tim's models than the L&PS, but which sure benefited from Wayne's work providing a living backdrop, even if only glimpsed at times... :bigboss:
