FreightAnim object? Not sure if that's been implemented.

A great advantage of OR is you don't need FA, errr FreighAnimation. It's robust in the polys allowance.

OR currently renders the FreightAnim shape at the same location as the main model. The two numbers after the shape name are ignored. Based on info. posted in another thread yesterday it looks like the shape should be raised by the difference between the two numbers. This seems to work for all the examples I've been able to find. Does that sound like the correct adjustment for the examples others have found?

Doug,
Testing with my Crew FA - OR places it in the correct place. However, when I create the crew S file, the crew model is in the correct relative position to the BASE model within in the modelling program. So I use the following line in the ENG file - FreightAnim ( Crew2.s 1 1 )
Hope this helps

Anyone know why my caboose doesn't show up in OR anymore?
I've been using this consist all day long for testing purposes while building the caboose and running it in Open Rails.
No error messages ever pop up in either sim. Both load just fine but I now have a missing caboose in OR.

It's back! ;) I discovered a texturing issue that's been troubling me all afternoon. I've had to isolate each part, one at a time to find it. :bigboss: It wasn't an untextured face but a mis-textured face which stems way back to when I first started modeling for MSTS again. B)
