Hmm, interesting question. All I did was 'snap' the track together as I was laying it. I didn't check that. I bass-u-med MSTS would take care of that part since it was on flat ground to begin with.
I'll go check it out though. I'm curious myself, now...

Anyone know why my caboose doesn't show up in OR anymore?
I've been using this consist all day long for testing purposes while building the caboose and running it in Open Rails.
No error messages ever pop up in either sim. Both load just fine but I now have a missing caboose in OR.

Pull it into shape viewer and check the texture list. If the word diffuse is there, there's a poly that isn't textured. For now the program is pretty particular about everything being textured and when it finds a model that has one face that's not, it tosses it all out.

In the hierarchy? :whistling:
Every part is tagged as, TexDiff, Normal.
The Texture option doesn't show any thing odd either.
3DC won't export a model if all faces aren't textured.

Ok, stick it and it's textures into a zip and send it to me via PM. Oh, the .wag file too. I'll take a look at it for you.

Reminds of that old Little Golden Book, The Little Red Caboose. Wow! That shows me up as a baby boomer.

Rick's little red caboose has skeedaddled away,
He's lost it, he's sad, 'cause he wants it to play,
So where can it be,
Is it where you can see?
Come on folks, let's help Rick find it today!
Algernon, who wonders if it got caught in a 'boose-trap?
