Two newly rebuilt and delivered GP40-2LWRs wait with a small M-KETMIT-26 before crossing over US Route 2 in eastern Washington. CGN is getting six GP40-2LWRs.

Yeah, nice, Phil- and Rod.
Walking down a hot street with camera in hand, I heard the unmistakable sound of a Pacific Electric trombone, so running to the next street I grabbed a shot of PE 1373 just as she was poking her face between the neighboring buildings:
Catching my breath, I also caught the combine as she creeped across Pacific Ave...
...and pulled to a stop in front of the depot:
after which I hailed a cab to take me south to grab a shot as the train headed south, and then home:
