Ah, here it is called "coverage locomotive" thanks.
I'd also note W's diagonal front cab walls.
Glad to help great master with his great models tweaking.
Train brake valve had Running notch, wich is actually still out of function too.
Don't forget about cab view direction... Though, You might prefer driving with tender-attached "passenger", or head-out cameras.
Locations of injector's drainpipes are still need to be properly defined. Happily, I can see injector's exhaust on that beautiful photo, colorized by Steve.
What about compressor's exhaust? Is it, what can be seen there? (I mean, is it situated right outside compressor, rather going to smokebox?)
We can add it, if so. And it's possible to experiment with puffs from stack, invented by mr.Newell. What is the steam leak near main reservoire, above engine?
I've duplicated cylinder cocks FX as well - just forgot to tell.

I never added the injectors or their plumbing beyond the feeders from the tender. AN MSTS holdover, to conserve polygons.
It appears that on the oil fired W's the injectors drained under the firebox, between the frames or just behind the trailing wheels. On many photos of coal fired W's the injectors' drain pipes usually feed into the ashpan itself.
Here's post 1947 1548's drain on the engineers side. Similar on the right.

It was piped between the frame in the 1930's.
As far as I can determine, the compressor was exhausted through the steam chest casting and out the stack.
Thanks again, my friend. The new eng file tweaks sound great, can't wait to test them when I get back.
Please do take care.

Here's the only photo I have of the inside of a W inside the cab, 1618 in 1955. Steam was coming to an end and maintenance was "barely". The rags are likely blocking steam leaks.

Slag moisturing...
Let's look onto Steve's colorized photo again: we can see three steam plumes on steamer's side:
(BTW, it would be great to set correct cylinder cocks locations too)
- Thin pipe, steaming above first driver;
- Steam, appearing near compressor;
- Strong steam plume under the cab, but now it's clear: that is probably not belonging to injector.

I incline to enlarge generator FX, according to Steve's photo.

Is that it?
I'd be pleased with that, until other evidence shows otherwise. In the colorized photo, note that 1533 has a mechanical stoker (two cylinder heads under the cab floor ). Maybe some of that steam is from it. Hard to tell. Most W's were hand fired, the stokers being applied mostly to those used as switchers (mostly on Lines East).
I'm thinking of deleting the MSTS V2 version, since I've heard back from Matt the Batt Smith that it crashes MSTS. A dedicated OR version would be nice; I could add the injectors and plumbing plus other "missing" parts. I'd also move the crew into the main shape.
So much to do! Where's my clone?

That steam jet looks to be from the steam feed to the stoker engine, to me.
