Hi everyone and Happy Father's Day,

Today I am running an activity named "1983-MOW" on the Tehachapi Pass II Route by 3D Trainstuff. The activity shows a total of about 7 AI Trains I am running against. My problem is I have run the activity twice and haven't seen an AI Train yet. I used the Activity Times changer to change the starting times without success. There are error messages in the OR log that the trains cannot be started at the time needed. This is also incorrect as the times in OR Log are not the times I have the trains scheduled to start. Can Someone advise me how I can correct this activity?

Thanks everyone & again Happy Father's Day

AJ

Your AI trains may have wrong paths.

I doubled checked them and made sure the paths were correct. The player train had green signals all the way to the end of activity.

The start time of all the AI's is before the activity start time.
They cannot be placed.

I changed the start time to 1325.

In previous OR versions, this was not a problem at all. Regardless of the previous time, they appeared with the usual delay after the start of the game.
Maybe you should go back to the usual way in version 1.3. A lot of tasks were done for us in this way as well.
Trash all users? I mean those who can’t do that kind of fix, and there are a lot of them.
Of course, if another train takes the place you are legitimate. Or if the path is damaged for some reason.
In the present case, that is not relevant.

I got AI's 2-6 to run, but as Laci points out, the activity used to run without error with 1.3.

Thanks guys, I changed the activity start time to 13:25. No error messages in OR Log but still no AI traffic showing up. Will give 1.3 a try.

Redownloaded activity from train sim and installed, ne error messages in OR log, but still no AI traffic. I think I will just put the consists in different sidings as loose consists.
Thanks everyone

I've just tried starting this act in ORMG with an amended start time of 13.25 but I get an error message regarding AI 1. Haven't tried to go any further atm.

Sort of following the thread...sometimes the AI paths made for MSTS are too short, or the AI spawns on or near a switch, signal, or some interactive. Try looking at the paths for the AI that are listed in the log and changing the starting points and extending them. This usually works for me.

Making paths-editing paths using TrackViewer is such an easy task...if the OP has never taken the time to use it, now is the time to try.
