Hi, I've been searching the forum on the subject but I can't find anything.
My question is if it is possible to implement different controls to move the left and right mirror independently.
I have managed to move the mirrors and their corresponding switches using the following entries in the *.cvf:
TwoState (
Type ( ORTS_MIRRORS TWO_STATE )
Position ( 194 397 24 14 )
Graphic ("trans.ace")
NumFrames ( 2 2 1 )
Style ( ONOFF )
MouseControl ( 1 )
)
TwoState (
Type ( ORTS_MIRRORS TWO_STATE )
Position ( 194 397 24 14 )
Graphic ("trans.ace")
NumFrames ( 2 2 1 )
Style ( ONOFF )
MouseControl ( 1 )
)
This works in the 3D cockpit: the switches move and the mirrors move, but the two switches move at the same time and the mirrors move at the same time.
In the 3D cab model, the switches are named like this:
ORTS_MIRRORS:0 (left mirror switch).
ORTS_MIRRORS:1 (right mirror switch)
And the mirrors, like this:
MIRRORS:0 (left mirror switch)
MIRRORS:1 (right mirror switch)
Although this is an improvement over previous versions of OR (I'm with Testing T1.4-55-g04375e6bf), because previously I couldn't move the mirrors from their switch, now I find it would be interesting if it's possible to move them independently. It would be as simple with an ORTS_LEFTMIRROR and ORTS_RIGHTMIRROR as with the gates... but this doesn't work.
As always, thank you very much for the help!

Did you manage to come up a solution since then? I'm facing a similar issue, where I have multiple alerter reset buttons in my 3D cab, but even when assigning different names to them, pressing any of them will make all of them animate together.

Hi.
No. There is a list somewhere of the controls and back indicators that can be used in the cab. Also included in the Manual. Does not include NYMG CC controls and feedback.
I wrote a private message in Hungarian.

If there are no mirrors, that can be assigned to jealousies of radiators, for instance.
What for list of all cab controls, Laci probably meant this:

Hi Weter.
Yes, that's what I was thinking. The excel spreadsheet shown in the picture completes this list. The original can be downloaded from the NYMG thread or from Cruise Control.
I have already translated the table for Hungarian content creators.

The OR Manual also describes John's Excel spreadsheet with a web-link in the section Developing OR Content > Parameters and Tokens.
