A little mixing of eras but I think it looks ok.

Randy

The whistle post needs some distress.
That's why I never get anything done.

Think, so.
The idea of using retired slip as a pole is great-catch indeed.

It's not a tie it's a 3-4" thick board.

Not sure where I got them. ATSF_Y_LIMITS.s and CP_WhistlePost.s
They are great little detail items.

I actually saw a couple of these along the old MP line in Southeast Colorado.
I would have grabbed one if it would have fit in the car. They were trash laying in the ditch.

There is always room for that kind of stuff. Don't ask me how I know that

I have an idea of how you know that...I too, have "had to" save- drag, a piece of "history" back with me when there was "no room" for it.

Something like,
Attached Image: Open Rails 2022-12-04 08-45-33.jpg

From SP's long-gone "Red Electric" line on 4th Ave. in southwest Portland, Oregon. The interurban tracks were removed in the early 1930's. In about 1975, I came across the post leaning over in the weeds, so I rescued it, even though I had no room. I knew it was significant, so, yeah, I nicked it. ;)

Understood. Did that include the chunk of concrete at it's base? ;)

Hi Tim, Weter,
It was just a big slab of wood pulled up out of the ground. 8 or 9 foot long with the joint in the middle and heavy as heII.
Would have been neat to have though.
I've had this hanging around on my hard drive for several months now.

If anybody's interested in an old used roundhouse here it is.
https://mega.nz/fold...7-Tw73wfXuKPFcw
It's based off of the original XTracks roundhouse track piece but the names and textures were changed so it can co-exist. It's a static scenery item. Actually two, a left and a right. Oh and a door. So three.
