I know we've discussed this before, but allowing physics and parameters for the transitioning of diesel and electric locomotives with rheostatic controls (both manual and automatic) is something I'm hoping to see in the future. Pretty important for convincing simulation of first-generation diesels.

As someone who enjoys creating cabs for modern US diesel locomotives, I would love to see the present bugs concerning various computer and analogue indicators fixed, as well as more different indicators added into the game.

Hi Borislav,

This thread is very helpful to share people's interests and wishes.

If you want a specific bug fixed, then please make sure it is documented in our Bug Tracker with instructions to help us reproduce the problem. Without that information, it will be difficult to resolve these issues.

Okay Santa...as a fan of the OR log...I wish when a warning like this is logged that OR uses a Train# that can be accurately traced to the activity file...for instance the Service Definition UID# in the Traffic Definition. If there is a way to find out which train this is, (without looking in the code ) can someone post it?

Quote

Information: Invalid passing path defined for train 24 at section 7 : overlaps with other passing path

Note: activity is CN_RUEL\ACTIVITIES\CN_418.act

Ran into this error call on one of my activities....could never find the "Overlapping path"....it would not happen on my system, but several users kept emailing that the activity failed because of this error. Don't know if this is the "actual" problem or not...I still have it on my list to investigate in the code....but by NOT checking "Location-linked passing path processing" seems to have cleared up my issue.

anyway

Thanks, I'll try that next time, would not have thought of it...I keep it checked by default and never touch it.
