Hello,

For moment my overspeeddisplay shows onley when the train is 7km/h above the linespeed.

Is there a way for change that 7 km/h, so that i have indication on 4km/h above the linespeed or after 1km/h ?

So now it is config like this:

OverspeedMonitor(
MonitoringDeviceMonitorTimeLimit( 0 )
MonitoringDeviceAlarmTimeLimit( 1 )
MonitoringDevicePenaltyTimeLimit( 0 )
MonitoringDeviceCriticalLevel( 130 )
MonitoringDeviceResetLevel( 0 )
MonitoringDeviceAppliesFullBrake( 0 )
MonitoringDeviceAppliesEmergencyBrake( 0 )
MonitoringDeviceAppliesCutsPower( 0 )
MonitoringDeviceAppliesShutsDownEngine( 0 )
MonitoringDeviceTriggerOnTrackOverspeed( 1 )
MonitoringDeviceTriggerOnTrackOverspeedMargin( 2 )
MonitoringDeviceResetOnResetButton( 0 )
)

In advance thanks,

I believe by default, OR reads the monitor speed sections as M/S. If so, then :

MonitoringDeviceTriggerOnTrackOverspeedMargin( 2.000 )
= 7.2km/h

MonitoringDeviceTriggerOnTrackOverspeedMargin( 1.111 )
= 4km/h

MonitoringDeviceTriggerOnTrackOverspeedMargin( 0.277778 )
= 1km/h

Thanks

I usually fill it in as an example (4kmh) to get value in km / hours, also works.

Hi All,

My overspeeddisplay shows when exceeding the line speed by a specified amount ( usually 2mph ). However the light only goes off when the speed drops to zero - is there a way of resetting the display to off when the speed drops below the line speed as is also shown by colour changes in the Track Monitor?

Regards,

Stephen

Hi All,

I don't know quite I have done but the overspeed light is now working properly on a Class 465 EMU. I still need to test this on other types of motive power.

Following on from this I have added a digital speedometer and speedlimit display. How can I get these to change colour when exceeding the speed limit and back again when back to below the limit?

Any help will be gratefully received,

Stephen
