Good Evening All,

After doing several searches here, I can't seem to find the answer for the question. Since joining ET a few months ago, I have became very interested in Open Rails. I have had OR for some time now but never really fooled with it much until lately.

I am having a problem only with a handful of loco's. They are loading up in OR but not visible. Anyone have any ideas why this happens? You can see the 8th notch smoke and it will run.Attached Image: nw01.jpg

Thank you for the information above. I read throught it and looked throught the .eng files for both loco's in the consist and could not really find anything. Attached is a zip containing both .eng files as well as a Open Rails Log for the photo above. These engines have no issues running in MSTS. Off hand I can think of these two units, I think there are four SD40-2 Milwaukee units and one Union Pacific SD 40-2 that react like this when running Open Rails.Attached File  OR Log.zip (15.73K)
Number of downloads: 259

I am hoping one of you guys can spot the issue from the zip and let me know how to fix these.

There are errors both in the .eng and .s files.
Re .eng files: in both files N&W_1645.eng and N&W_1649.eng insert in line 60
    Type ( 1#Sphere of light)

a space like follows
    Type ( 1 #Sphere of light)

Do the same in line 80 before the #.
Re .s files: attach here or send to me via PM files n&w_1645.s and n&w_1649.s and I'll see if they can be corrected easily. They seem to have some syntax errors.

Warning: Expected end of block; got '\' tells me that they are reskins of the MSTS SD40-2 update shapes. These have a fault in the animation section that MSTS ignores but OR does not. These shapes cannot be compressed either with that \ in the file. If you have Shape File Manager open the S file and then edit it. Do a search in the file for \ and then delete that \ after which you can use Shape File manager to compress the file. The shape will then show in OR.

That was a quick quick fix. Thank you guys.....fixing the two lines in the eng file and removing the \ out of the shape file did the trick.
