I downloaded "Derrick OP Beta test set.zip" from the ET library, narrow gauge, flatcars.
There are 3 wagons in the folder.
I get a Syntax error with Conbuilder 2.4.6 for the very short opboomassy.wag

I have tried re-writing the wag in a re-named wag but no luck.
The 3 wagons load and look good in OR.
Perhaps someone can reproduce and track down what is causing the Syntax error.

The first two error reports are False errors. The problem is caused by the use of a Parameter name, "FreightAnim," within the name of a NEW parameter. It is something that we can code around in a future update of ConBuilder. May be in version 6.1.

We are currently coding changes so that ConBuilder can be set to ignore startup errors that only affect MSTS and not ORTS. Also looking at a test that will identify ENG files with the ORTS known issue described in the Manual in section 17.1 "Empty Effects Section in .eng file."

OH! Forgot to mention the third Error report concerning the opboomassy.wag. The false error when the Parameter "Mass" is used within another parameter or within a data filed was fixed a LOOOOOOOONGGGG time ago. I think it was soon after ConBuilder became Payware.

Can you please be more definitive as to which download this is? I do not find it in:
Elvas Tower
> CONTENT
> MSTS
> MSTS Download Library
> Narrow Gauge Locos & Rolling Stock
> NG Flatcars

Well I found the file D&RGW Derrick OP that contains the OP_Boomcar.wag BUT the other two WAGs were not in that download.

Where did the NGFLATUINTAH#141NT_IDLEr.wag come from.

NGFLATUINTAH#141NT_IDLEr.wag? one of many usually with gilsonite, logs, wool, hay and sugar beet freight anims on.. original flatcar was made (but not yet published) by another ET member.. the opboomassy error was on the end of a list of 60 errors - first 59 all freight anim.. cb2.4.6 usefully gives separate lists of Syntax (60) and Shape (59) errors - so I tried to fix that odd one... thank you again..

That does not help. Can you contact the creator and get him to send the file to support at ConBuilder dot com? Can't fix the problem without the Guinea pig.

The only problem I had was that of opboomassy.. I was already well aware of false reports with cb2.4.6 for multiple freight anims..

So I understand that you refuse to help us get a wagon to test a fix to these false errors. Is that correct?

Yes, that is correct. In 10 years use the opboomassy error was the first time that I needed more than the freeware 2.4.6 provides. Thank you again for solving the riddle.

The errors with freight anims are, as you wrote earlier, false ones.
