Considering how much of the old PE line through Watts is now the LA Metro Blue Line, it might be interesting to do an alternative-scenery version (AFTER getting the current one in hand of course!!) that's modern. Most likely, many tracks would be removed (though there's a UP (SP) freight line paralleling the Blue Line for much of its length so something might be possible switching-wise). And I don't think there are many modern LRV models that could be easily adapted. Anyway, great job!
Hmmm. Wonder if LA Metro might fund development of a Blue Line route and possibly the Expo line (Air Line) to Santa Monica too? Would be an interesting addition to their web site, like CP did with a partial version of a MLT route at one time.

Hello dear friends
I am glad that you liked the pictures. Therefore, there is soon a few more pictures from the currently available state of the track.
The overpass over the Firestone Blvd., Graham Yard and Slauson Jct.
Best wishes

Here are some pics from my Pacific Elctric Route.
Currently, the tracks of the route from L.A. to Watts are finished. The landscape is still under construction. Extensions to San Pedro and Long Beach are planned. (And later even the Western District, but that is yet future).

Hello dear friends
here some news of the construction ...
A train of Watts Local Line crosses the Firestone Blvd.
In the background of Graham Yard. Since I unfortunately was not enough information about this marshalling yard, I had to be a bit creative.
Between Watts and Slauson Jct.
Slauson Jct. is still under construction. On the right you see the turnoff of Yorba Linda Whittier Line. There are also here to find little information, it is not built by me (for now).
So much for today
Best wishes

Hello friends,
After a long time there are new advances to show the route. The other end of the line in the city of L.A. is ready.
In the 8th Street Yard there is a train with Portlend Twelves to the Main Street Station
In the background the striking gasometer (thanks to Tim Muir)
En route on the Olympic Boulevard
Olympic Boluevard corner San Pedro Street. At the back is a PCC of the LATL. Note the triple rail.
Entrance to the elevated railway viaduct
The Main Street Station with the Pacific Electric Building
Still Hollywood Cars drive on the Watts Local Line. But on the right, the buses are ready to be replaced soon
More pictures of the route to Watts coming soon

Beautiful work! I really love your attention to details that is evident in the screenshots. Having spent some childhood years in LA in the 1950s, I recognized several locations from just the screenshots, no need for captions! I am really looking forward to running this route.
