Yes, you need a path editor. But one is part of open rails track viewer. (You can do better, I know - but you could proceed without it if you choose).

No, I need built in TSRE path full support, because Path file doesn't contain data required to create services and activity.

.. you have it on the image - yellow "1".

Too many dialog boxes with the about same meaning does get confusing--such as what confused me this morning. I suggest consolidating the "Hack" dialog box under one but have different commands under one hack dialog box this way it would be less confusing for everyone.

I think it is better when every object has it's own functions, not one window for all.

Payware is not welcome.

You should be aware of this program: Activity Generator by Skyline Computing: http://skylinecomputing.com/SLG.htm

In breif this little piece of payware builds upon the activity editor by creating random switching activities by adding databases of what kind cars are shipped and received by specific sidings. Would be great to see something like this integrated into open rails in the future.

When you think about it, there are three parts to an activity:
1. The train you drive (it's work order and timetable, etc)
2. The other AI traffic
3. The static consists which can be switched.

The open rails timetable function has AI traffic down but completely neglects the possibility of switching (at the moment).

I think signals are 100% like in MSTS now. I made auto test based on function from this window. It performs simulation of placing new signal based on .W file data and compares result to existing data in TDB. Found no errors in all my routes.

And one hidden feature. It is possible to enable Antialiasing in settings.txt:

AASamples = 16

It is "hidden feature" because pointer doesn't work when AA is enabled, so you can't edit route, but if someone wants to make some pics, it may be useful:

Hi Goku,

A question and an issue.

How does one place a loose consist in the activity editor? If I understand you, that's part of the initial feature set?

The issue is some oddities in the text display (see attachment). For the most part it's fine, but the navigation window is difficult to use and you'll see that Activity Objects List on the right is not right. For me Activity Objects List is non-functional. I have a so-called retna screen with a greater pixesl density and sometimes it can contribute to this sort of error if the latest windows conventions are not fully followed (sorry I can't be more technically precise).

Thanks for all you are doing! It's really exciting to see it roll out.

Christopher

PS - Doesn't Paul's Conn River line look good in your engine!
