So should the "Load" indication be the sum of the loads of the locomotives of each group? And what UoM should be used? Amps or a force UoM?

No, the load indicates the tractive effort/ammeter value of the unit linked.
What ATW said about the sum of the tractive effort is another field in the DPU screen. If you go to his post #111, in the third picture you can see this field as "Consist".

About the second question I don't have the answer, since in Brazil the DPU don't have this field "consist".

Carlo, a friend of mine had a problem in activity mode. After coupling an AI locomotive, he cannot operate that locomotive as DPU and the loco not appear at DPU GUI window. After save and restart the OR, everything work well.
You can see the whole operation after 35:33 in the video:

Is there any chance that those Tier 4 EMD locos might be released? I had no idea anyone was working on them. Oh, and your revised UP SD70's are wonderful. Running them today. Thanks for your many contributions to MSTS/OR.

There is a chance they are but not till satisfactory results are done, only thing they lag are sounds an a completed cab and awaited needed instruments. Oh yea those revised SD70's, I forgot the regular nose ones didn't get released yet but notch noses did.

I have found what was missing for it, and will correct this in next ORNYMG release.

Not to derail the thread, but the "revised" regular SD70s would be a real treat. Thanks again for all your contributions.

Back on topic, I'm happy to see the DPU control options in OR. I've only briefly experimented with it, but it should be a neat addition. I like running mountainous routes, where, in prototypical railroading, "building the fence" is commonly used. I have an engineer friend (just recently retired) who spent his career mountain railroading and became pretty much an expert at operating DP units in the mountains.
