UPDATE MARCH 9 2015 - .wag file corrections

This set covers railroads of the east that mined bituminous steam coal used in power plants and factories.
While most coal dealers received anthracite coal (from railroads serving Pennsylvania), some dealers also carried bituminous coal for industries that used smaller quantities.

Appropriate for a range of dates from 1926 to 1982. Some cars have ACI labels which appeared after 1967.

Models by Scott Brunner, Dick Cowen and Paul Charland.
Some photo-skins from photos (c.1972) by Chuck Bohi. Others have lettering only derived from photos from a variety of sources.

Three of these cars represent rebuilds using protruding panels to increase capacity, a modification popular in the 1930's, but later found to be vulnerable to rust damage. Others are offset designs and rib sided.

If you want a more detailed assortment of hoppers, I commend to you the BLWZT 1950's freight pack (part of the PRR4 set).
It contains hoppers from assortment of railroads and many
PRR hoppers, which were all over the east on connecting railroads. All circa 1947.
