for ones that dont think I can get some projects done here is what I have of the MILW S3 class 4-8-4. A few shots of the MILW 261 and 265 side by side and a photograph of the 269 in the 1950s appearance with its oil tender. I will also be including them in different paint and modifications over the years. Here they are in there 1950s era look. I have decided to make this into a mega pack with not just those 2 locomotives but also the 261 water tender and an oil burning tender for the ones that were converted to oil later in there careers for the Milwaukee Road. This pack will include 5 road numbers. The 261, 262, 265, 266 and 269. These locomotives have been built using technical drawings and photographs I have obtained over the years along with being involved with the Milwaukee Road 261 myself has also helped quite a bit with the project. All locomotives will be Open Rails only and will have multiple versions of the locomotive. What I will have is a 1944 as built model, 1950s as seen here, and 1954 versions. Milwaukee Road 261 I have taken a step farther with a model of it in 1993, 1999, and 2013 as an excursion locomotive. I have also been requested to make the 1661 that the 261 was masked for steamtown for a short time back in 94-95 Here are a few shots of the 261 and 265 side by side.

Don't be too hard on Brandon, I notoriously suffer the same 'digression' syndrome.

Cheers Bazza

Captain, I think most all of us modellers do. http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

If you don't like em don't download them. His other models are worth there time he puts in them.

Well I did end up helping out Derek with the FRISCO 1522 models because I helped him with the sounds and beta tested the models for him. As for the 4449 and 844 those were the first 2 models that Mike Knott and I worked on together and yes the physics could use some work because it was one of my earlier project I helped out with but in all I think they turned out just fine. The Milwaukee Road 261 is my first major project I have taken on by myself with a little help from Mike Knott in the beginning with starting the model for me and letting me take it over. I have been putting a lot of time and effort into this project and hope everyone enjoys it when Im done. Yes no model is perfect and there will always be some flaws in every model. I try to work with multiple modelers so we arnt duplicating models too. The S3 Class 4-8-4 project I have done just about every thing myself other then the start of building the model and the animations were done all by Mike Knott.

Here are my first shots of the S3 Class 4-8-4s side by side. Notice there are differences with all of the locomotives. I still have some modifications to work on and I also want to do some new textures for the locomotives as well so they dont have a Clean look. Let me know what you guys all think.

Thanks Brandon

That would be the MARS light. It's a kind of gyra-light that is activated if a train goes into emergency braking. And sometimes crews would activate it when going through a station.
