Cool looking model :)

RE downed and upped coupler models: I think Bazza (correct me if I´m wrong) has once created a loco with animated smoke defelctors, using the "Mirror" animation to achieve it. Might that be applicable here too?

Cheers, Markus

Thanks Markus as for animations I'm not sure how I could do that with the coupler. Here are a couple shots of ALL of the S3 class 4-8-4s that will be in the pack in different versions as you can tell. I have really tried to go above and beyond with this set to try and make it as accurate as possible from the real S3 Class locomotives.

I like your thinking with the two packs. Keep up the good work, Brandon. I can't wait for the final product!

Milwaukee Road S2 Progress. I have already added a bigger boiler to the locomotive but will be keeping most of the applyances the same. The S2 class were bigger then the S3 but with slight differences in design as the S2 were built by Baldwin and the S3 built by Alco.

It should be possible to animate the front coupler and clam-doors using mirror.

Cheers n HNY

These are looking really good. We will now have the power to run the Hi over the 'Gap'.

There is a nice photo in Jim Scribbins' Hi book showing the 233 pulling a Morning Hi at Truesdale WI, so the S2 could be passenger power as well.

Keep up the good work.

I particularly like the lights those units have.
