I lately jumped from x1984 to x2019. I was told to check out the water, because it was not being rendered correctly. Sure enough, Claus was right. The old water ace I've been using for years has lost it's transparency and appears as a flat murky green color.

On my Pacific Electric route, what used to look like this (shown here in MSTS, don't have a shot from x1984):

Now looks like this in x2019:

Hope this is temporary.

Thanks.

Just to check, are any of you using the MSTS Environments experimental option?

I'm not.

No. I did try it to see what would happen but it changed nothing with the water render. It gave the sky a "Time Tunnel" effect, so I turned it off.

I tried it on two UK routes and both shut down with different errors on different activities. Turned the option off and both routes run properly, except for the flashing blue/black water.

The issue in the first instance is that the tiling factor isn't ready by OR from the .env file, I can fix that, I'll look at it.

The MSTS option doesn't affect the water, since it was always read from the MSTS file, interestingly enough, the only thing that was.

The third issue is something I'm working on, and as I've said, I wouldn't recommend the MSTS Environment option for anything yet, it's still in a very very primitive state...

Fixed in X2028.
