DeHavilland Tiger Moth, single-engined, two seater, bi-plane
Tail-dragger, static model, with wheels chocked
Circa 1930's*
For MSTS and Open Rails scenery
By Captain Bazza
Probably very rare in the US, this famous British designed popular bi-plane was used for recreational flying, and for flight training purposes, especially during WW2. Some are still flying. The model is a good scene filler at an airport because the model is low poly. Years ago, two of my nephews had flights in one of the local examples. They didn't follow their father's example of barffing up large many years previously, in another DeHavilland, a twin bi-plane of the same era. The pilot sits and flys from the rear seat at all times, the passenger gets the front seat. Too bad if the pax vomits into the slipstream, eh?
These aircraft were exported as kitsets(?) to mainly British Commonwealth countries, ours included.
I made just two versions, many years ago, and they were my first (and only) foray into aircraft assets for MSTS.
*Could have been late 20s.
EULA, free use, may be reskinned.
ENJOY!
