Hi Paul!

Your 44-tonner is a real great one and the best
avbailable for MSTS!!!

The one available at Trainsim was a very sturdy
one but yours is working fine, finer, the finest!!!

I`ve just one question about it. Could you add
a pop-up-window indicating the percentage of the
throttle applied?

Actually you can just view it by pressing F5.

Christian

P.S.: What about the Bangor Valley-RR to rebuild? It was a interurbarn
of 32 Miles converted in 1946 to Diesel:

Hi Christian,

I'm not sure how to get the throttle percentage to show in the sim, I used Richard Cowan's engine file for the ST 44 tonner, have never started one from scratch so I'm not sure what triggers the sim to display things at the bottom of the screen.

The Aroostook Valley, hadn't thought of them. I'm working on the Dominion Atlantic right now, might be a year before it's complete if I Google or Bing uploads some missing satellite shots.

Thanks Hobo,

Just took the line out and ran the 44 tonner and presto... the throttle percentage appeared!

Think I used the same engine file on Thousand Islands 500.

Hi Hobo, Hi Paul!

Thank you very much!!! Your hint fixed the problem!

BTW.: Paul I read, you built the engine with TSM (Trainsimmodeler).
If yes, I would be curious to rebuild your engine to 24 inch-gauge.

There are several 3 footers operating - why not a two-footer ;-)

Lowering the cab it would be a nice addition to my 25-tonner I built
years ago:

Hi !
You only use that line if you have dynamic brakes and the throttle and dynamic work off the same lever . A lot of Dwight Mitchell's cabs use it and he always explains what to do in his ReadMe file .
Just a thought !

Hi Hobo,

Here's Richard's ReadMe file that came with the 44 tonner I fished the engine file from:

"MSTS GE 44 ton Switcher Reskinning Kit

"This kit is simple to re-paint and will give you a
handy locomotive for those switching activities around
the yard.

"The eng file has the latest "front coupler" settings and
REALISTIC brakes. It will NOT stop on a dime!!!!! ;-)

Richard Cowen

"richardjimc@aol.com"

His S-2 file has even less.
