Thought I'd share a little something I'm working on. It's a 2 square route. Has two towns in it and I want to add a third. So far, this is all that I've done. Most all of the track is layed though, and everything seems to be working.
There are 3 logging camps up the mountain and a mill down in Rocky Ridge.
This is a shot of Flat Top which is just down off the mountain...

Have fun!

There doesn't seem to be any 'fine tuning' of ground texturing so I can't really make the ground as I want it. I could use help with texturing the ground. So far, it all looks the same. Drab for sure...
I'd like to run a 'dirt' eve under the track... The track is there and the ballast but I'd like a narrow clearing along side all the track.

It looks as though this place needs a boarding house. Something like, Randa's rooms to let or Flannagan's Flop House. LOL

Thanks,

:birthday:

Rick, look into Mosaic. You can do anything you want to ground textures with that.

Nice start Rick :)

Mosaic is available from Digital rails

Well worth the money, especially on a small tile route like yours where you could really go to town on the textures. Have a look on this thread to see what can be done with it...

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I keep forgetting you're relatively new to the MSTS side.

I'm having the same problem as I transition to the RailWorks world. I'm unfamiliar with the available tools there.
