Hi All,
Just a heads up that I've uploaded a large hotel complex to the files section.
The Cornwallis Inn is located in Kentville, Nova Scotia. Built by the Dominion Atlantic Railway in 1930 it became part of parent company Canadian Pacific a year later when it joined their CP luxury hotel chain.
The model measures 360 x 150 feet, comes in 3 parts, and has 4427 polygons.

Hi Allen and All,
Yes, this is part of the Dominion Atlantic Railway I'm working on. Have about fifty buildings drawn for Kentville, the headquarters and main shops for the line. The railway was leased for 99 years by the Canadian Pacific but most of the line was abandoned in the late '80s. The portion just north of Kentville to Halifax remains and is operated by the Windsor and Hantsport Railway Co. Live in the area back in the '70s so I thought I'd preserve some of my own history for a change!
I'm in the process of finishing the area around Kentville so I hope to post a few screen shots soon.

Hi Tim,
I don't usually spend six days on one building but what can I say! When I get a little farther with the route Steve Meridith will be making a copy and start to convert Kentville back to the '40s to create a route that also ran out of Kentville. I'll be back dating the Cornwallis Inn to that time frame for Steve, removing the two late '60s additions and rebuilding the original entrance where the deck is in the front... might be more your time frame Tim.
If you came in from Halifax on the RDC in the evening and wanted to continue south you had to run two blocks to the back of the Cornwallis Inn to catch the Acadian Lines bus. Most of the people on the train would literally run down the middle of Webster Street, luggage in hand so if the bus tried to leave it would have to run them over first!
