Having scaled the dizzy heights up from Mountain Creek, past Mount Airy, over numerous trestles spanning the gullies that nature has thrown in the way of the railroad, you eventually arrive at Fly Gap, little more than a slot in the wall of the mountain range, but offering access to a more gently rolling valley between further ranges - home of zinc miners and timber giants...

Simply gorgeous. The curved trestle is beautiful to behold, a testament to patience - and perseverance. It ain't easy to place one of those (In the RE), especially if it's on a grade. The wreck is a nice touch! Very nicely lit and photographed series again, Rod. Thanks for the lookity-look. :o

Fantastic....and the loco texturing is great work. I never liked the thought of lining and fancy fol-de-rols, but it sets it off very nicely indeed.

Cheers Bazza

PS Speaking of Fly Gap.....reminds me to make sure I zip! :p :)

Thank you Nick, Tim and Bazza - kudos to Andre on the route modelling and Jon Davis on the engines. :p

Moving on to Zinc City.....so named, cause it's made of Zinc (no, not really... :) )
