Here are a couple of classic Baltimore and Ohio diesels with some eastbound coal trains departing Cumberland, Maryland.
1. B&O F7 4497 leads its train out of Cumberland. Note that it has the Sunburst livery.
2. Now another train with ALCO FA 803 at the lead.

Here are some Centuries at work hauling the coal.
In a coal yard on Canadian Pacific's Shuswap Subdivision, we have three Canadian Pacific Montreal Locomotive Works (the Candaian ALCO) C-630s hualing the coal.
In Marion, Ohio on the Conrail Indy Line, its three Conrail C-628s doing the coal hualing chores.

Hello,
Here three of Richard Cowen's B&O mallets are working their coal train over the hills of Rich Garber's Ohio Rail (freeware version). The two more modern ones with long and short tender are pulling...
...while the older compound engine is working as a helper.
Having delivered their freight at the coke ovens...
...engines and crews are having a break at Marietta. (That's the name of the depot and not of the barmaid at the station cafe :huh: )
