Today I took a quick trip from San Francisco to the Cajon/Tehachapi Pass area.

On my approach to Barstow Airport I took this picture, what a great lash-up

I got a lucky day since I had connections and got a tour of the Barstow Yard. IMHO I like my SP/UP connections better B) A UP Passenger special for the local crew district to give them a THANK YOU for the all the hard work they do!

This is a pic of a old S-2 working outside Edison.

Little did I know until after processing the photos did I notice that the BNSF Tank Train had BNSF 4723 leading.
