Those are nice, on my list for sure. All I need now is hoppers loaded with sugar beets, and the new SP route from 3DTS

The new SP route is through Colton, San Bernardino, Beaumont hill. I guess thats the Sunset route. And after that they are doing the coastline... That was the last I heard

Sure would like to see those S-2's backdated to pre-bloody nose colors. Never liked that butt-ugly grey & red, even when it's done as well as these are.

Dave,

Gaetan is vacationing currently, but when he returns I'll pass on your request. Do you have a source for photos of the pre-bloody nose version?

Rick

I'd like to add my vote for the tiger-striped version:

IIRC all of the orange paint used by SP in the late steam era was PFE Orange.

The 1959 Halloween Version can be seen right here.

Tim's photo is the 1947-59 version, the history is here.

The 1944-46 Tiger Stripe version history.

An s1 in the 1946-59 Tiger Stripe, here.

A pair of nice models are here and here.

These screens are awesome! Is this a 3DTS route they are running on?

Although I generally prefer the older liveries as well, I do feel that this SP grey and red livery , or 'bloody nose' as you call it, looks real good on these engines.
