Hi everyone. Haven't posted many screenshots, and I thought I'd start a thread with some. Did anyone go on the trips last summer where D&RGW C-18 315 ran on the Cumbres & Toltec? I did not, however, through the magic of MSTS 1, we can all pretend that we were there!
It was a morning in Chama, NM.

C-18 315 waits for duty alongside K class engines 487 and 488. Her crew arrives and tends to her, gives her water and coal, then moves her to connect with her train.

After coupling to her short train (C class can't pull over 4 cars up the 4%) and loading up with the passengers and the freight car full of tools, 315 takes off towards Cumbres.

Shortly leaving Chama, the train chasers wait across the way from the Rio Chama bridge.

Soon after, they get back in their cars to chase 315 as it heads towards the Narrows.

Meanwhile, some lucky people in Caboose 0579 get to see her pull the train into the Narrows.

And of course the chasers are there too!

Hi,

Great set of pictures, there's nothing like these old narrow gauge Loco's is there?

Cheers,

Dodger.

Soon the train leaves the narrows and passes "Lake Lobato" and slows to stop at Lobato

She does two runbys at Lobato- one at the Trestle, and one above.

We then continued up the hill. The train chasers from the road could only see this between Dalton and the next crossing of New Mexico 17.

And finally, reaches NM 17 on a full head of steam
