Why the hesitation to release it? I'd like to see it. It looks good from the screen shots.

I know how route concepts can change. That shows it still has life in it.

I'm glad to see you having fun with my Perley Thomas car, one of the best-looking street cars ever made. They look pretty good in orange and cream with the black trim. It's good to see them being used. And I love the concept of a modern-era transit system running restored historic cars. The "restored" Ten fits right in. B)

Thank you for your kind words Tim.

To anyone who has been interested in this project, I'm deeply sorry for not keeping it up to date. With that, I'm done with school til the fall, so I'll have a bit more time to focus my energy on the Joint Line project (a revamp of the famed LSRC route), and this, PNW Transit. After going back and forth of a decision, (and its yet to be set into stone), I plan on going back to using the Downtown Trolley route, as I couldn't make a track-plan that I was satisfied with. So, I've broken up the "Trolley" routes, and abandoned the interurban sections to create eight very different rail lines.

F Airport to Downtown/Amtrak
J Bramfield to West End via Downtown
K Riley to Southside via Downtown
L Downtown/Amtrak to County Fairgrounds
M Riley to University
N Riley to Hospital via Downtown
S Southside to Downtown "Southside Trolley" -
this route is where Tim's cars will reign supreme
T Riley to West Side via Downtown

If you're familiar with San Francisco each route letter should strike a bell :p

As the the vehicle of choice, David Hancock wins. The winner is the Bombardier Flexity Swift "CR4000A" vehicle. Its specs are as follows:
Make/Model: Bombardier Transportation Flexity Swift CR4000A
Length: 99 Feet
-A/B Unit Length: 47 Feet
-C Unit Length: 4.5 Feet
Width: 9 Feet
Height: 12 Feet (Pantograph lowered)
Weight (Empty): 80,030 pounds
Maximum Speed: 60 mph
-Service Acceleration: 2.1 mp/s
-Service Deceleration: 2.7 mp/s
-Emergency Deceleration: 8 mp/s
Minimum Horizontal Curve Radius: 65.7 Feet
Maximum Gradient: 80%
Passenger Loads:
-Seated: 70 passengers
-Standees: 140 passengers
-Crushload: 215 passengers
Wheelbase:
-A/B to C (Center) Trucks: 38 Feet
-A to B Trucks: 76 Feet
Multiple Unit Train Lengths:
-Single Unit: 99 Feet
-Two Units: 198 Feet
-Three Units: 296 Feet
-Four (Maximum) Units: 396 Feet

All in all, I think that this is a good track to settle upon, as I'm a bit more confident this time. As for the historic cars, I'll have to recreate them, as I lost them when my computer crashed back in March...so I have alot of ground to cover and catch up on.

The only thing that I will ask of anyone here on Elvas Tower is can anyone, please create a F/A tag of couplers for the cars...as they're MU capable in real life, only in emergency purposes, in this application, they'll always need to be out and open, ready for use at all times. For now, I'll work with David about the paint scheme, and tonight I'm going to look at where I can start on the route. Soon, I'll attach a map and a few drawings of crossvers and other important aspects of the system.
