Sometimes it's good to get away and go for a ride on a classy old F-unit...

PRR E7 A-B-B-A set, as of now (unfortunately) unavailable. Once available, see the Custom Paint Works of BLLW.net. Richard Cowen did special shapes for the trainphones and lift rings, as well as Bin-animated pilot doors with coupler. Opinions?

All right, all right, enough of this western diversion. Did someone mention E-units? Take three---they work, occasionally.

An intercity Penn Central train has come to a halt on a cold winter's day near Philadelphia in 1968. The curious presence of diesel-electric units in the electrified Northeast Corridor is explained by a powdering of snow earlier in the morning which wreaked havoc with the GG1s assigned to get this train to Harrisburg and points west. We hope.

As usual, locomotives by BLW/ZT, cars by and large by same. PC B60b by Rick Franzosa.
