Hi All,
Pretty much finished the customers on Clinton Street and though I'd share a few progress shots.
1 Boston and Maine train 73 heads north while Springfield Terminal 15's crew sorts cars at Springfield Junction.
2 Springfield Terminal 15 crosses the Black River at Goulds Mills on their way to Clinton Street.
3 & 4 The crew stops their train short of Bryant Chucking Grinder where they will cut their train between the Milwaukee and New York Centrals boxcars. Once empty, suitable cars are reloaded when they can be and the empty at Bryant Chucking's receiving track will be moved to their shipping track for reloading.
5 & 6 After spotting the empty at Bryant Chucking's shipping siding the crew headed to the Clinton Street yard, ran around the Milwaukee boxcar, then exchanged it with the empty Chicago and Northwestern car. Like the empty at Bryant Chucking, the empty Jones and Lamson car will be moved to their shipping track at the west end of the complex.
7 Before heading to the Mineral Street yard the crew stops at the Snath Company to lift an empty boxcar that will be used for an outbound load from JT Slack on Mineral Street.

Paul,
The line looks like it has grown substantially since the last beta. All looks real good.

Hi Paul,
Might have grown a mile, but it covers about 45% of the line's customers and is into a populated area. From the end of Clinton Street I can see the end of track on Mineral and Main Streets, about half a mile on each street and another 45% of the customers, plus the location of the carbarn.

Hi Tim,
Nice shot of 20 just between Seaver's Siding and Clinton Street! I'm down to two half mile segments of track, one the passenger only Main Street line, the other leads to the Mineral Street yard and carbarn.

I had a chance to make a quick downhill run this morning - needs plenty of brake to keep it at or below the 25 mph speed limit - and the additions Paul has made to this beta tell me that it is going to be another excellent route from the House of Charland. Here are some shots from that run:
I am afraid I don't know the area like Paul does, but everything looks just great!!

Hi Paul,
In the second last shot you posted you are just passing a switch known as Klondike, if you take the straight route the line goes into Charlestown and the B&M passenger station. This was out of service after 1947 when passenger service ended but the tracks were not removed for quite some time, still in place when shots were taken in the mid '50s.
